The ARDA World 2016 convention in Hollywood, Florida, will be the biggest vacation ownership event of the year.
Thousands of industry professionals representing every area of the timeshare world will attend the five-day event held at the Diplomat Hotel. EVC Marketing's client, Merlin Software for Vacation Ownership, is a regular exhibitor at the convention and this year is keen to extend its reach in to the US. To assist with this, EVC Marketing developed a targeted email campaign to encourage visitors to Merlin Software's booth, promoted their attendance on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn and developed this year's booth give-away - a smartphone grip. EVC Marketing will be tweeting and posting throughout the event and producing a video of the Merlin team's experience. The first EVC Marketing LinkedIn training day took place on April 28th - and was a great success according to delegates.
Hosted by Resort Solutions Ltd, the training was headed up by digital marketing guru John Heffernan from Red Live Media. Prior to the training day, all delegates received a profile assessment from John highlighting weaknesses in their current LinkedIn profiles - together with homework tasks to help them make improvements. On the day, John took delegates through every aspect of LinkedIn including how to successfully use the platform to connect with potential leads and how to set themselves up as an authority in their field. The release of the brochure is the first step in a larger marketing campaign which includes the launch of an updated mobile and responsive website, social media campaign on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and email programme. The brochure will be used by the new membership services department which has recently been established at the resort to help promote the new five-year membership programme and assist current owners. One way to know if your resort or business is providing a great customer experience is by surveying them at certain touch points during and after an interaction.
Today, there are a vast number of online services that can help resorts and businesses get feedback from their owners, guests and customers - and many of them are free or low cost. One client asked EVC Marketing to assist in the development of a customer satisfaction survey to see how well they were doing. EVC Marketing suggested implementing a Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey which is quick and simple to organise and provides instant feedback. The aim of the NPS is simple: To find out if your clients or customers would recommend you to someone else? By using a standard NPS survey template, with just two questions, the company was able to see quickly what their customers thought. They could see how happy their customers were and then gauge their performance over time with further NPS surveys in the next few months. In this case, our client emailed the survey to their users, but the survey can also be embedded into your website, a weblink added to other communications or social media or even taken manually. Net promoter scores are produced by asking respondents to rate the likelihood they would refer your business to someone else, using a scale from 0 to 10. Using your customers’ answers, you can identify the percentage of customers who would promote you, and use this number to gauge your performance over time. You can read the magazine online below: EVC Marketing has launched a new QLodges owners' website for owners at Cameron House, The Loch Lomond Owners Club (The Carrick), Slaley Hall and Belton Woods.
The site can be found at myluxurylodge.co.uk and incorporates one landing page which is then divided into four similar websites for each of the clubs. A universal template with a different colour for each resort was developed using Wordpress. The brief was to develop a simple site where owners can visit to get the latest news from the resort and the general area. A password-protected member's area contains a range of important documents, AGM and meeting minutes and news that the committee wishes to share with owners. The site has now been completed and the staff at QLodges have been trained to add new content going forward. |
